A sequel to “The Taco Shack Killer,” this book follows the story of Anthoney, a demon rescued by God from hell and given a chance to atone for his sins. God bestows Anthoney a new name, Regenerator, and superpowers. Together with his friends, Anthoney tries to defeat Demented Girl. “Anthoney’s Return from Hell” is about the power of second chances. Here, author Anthoney Pate highlights the idea that God always forgives.
EXCERPTS:

When he woke up he thought of Susan. Regenerator all of the sudden appeared in front of the University Susan goes to. (Now which dorm does she live in?) Regenerator thought. All of the sudden Regenerator sees a vision of a building and room number 128. It is like his eyes didn’t see what was actually happening, just the information he needed. “That was cool.” Regenerator said out loud even though no one was around. (Now how do I talk to her without showing her my face?) Regenerator though. His face started tingling and he could feel it shifting. Regenerator walked over to a car and looked in the mirror. His face had changed. Anthoney changed his face to look like Mickey Mouse, then Rocky and a few other celebrities. Anthoney realized he was wasting time and changed his face back to the first face it had changed to.

Regenerator got to the warehouse a few minutes early, put on his hat and face mask. He knocked on the door. The door opened almost immediately. In front of him was an amazingly huge man bald, he looked like he might be a football player. The lettermans jacket gave him away. Regenerator shoved his knife right into his heart. As he pulled the knife out Blood started squirting everywhere. Regenerator heard a gunshot. Then his chest separated, forming a huge hole in the middle of his chest and his organs moving out of the way of the bullet. Then it snapped back together. He pulled his revolver out and shot. The bullet hit the man right between the eyes. Another bullet fired at him and his neck separated on the left side making a hole for the bullet to go through. The organs moved around so they would not get hit and the bullet came out the other side his neck closed up.

Anthoney appeared in front of God. “You know killing people is not always the answer.” God said.
“I am the angel of death, is that not what you sent me here for?” Anthoney asked.
“I sent you here to help people and sometimes kill. Sometimes they just need push in the right direction.
You need to learn when to kill and when not to.” God said.
“You think I just need a push in the right direction?” Anthoney asked.
“That is why you are here. There is still good in you.” God said.
“How do you see that? Through all anger and hate.” Anthoney said.
Without a word God disappeared.

Taco Shack Killer is a book about a boy who is bullied as a young teen and uses his anger to kill the kid that is doing the bullying. As he grows up, every time he runs into a bully in his life, he kills them. As an older teen, he gets a job at the Taco Shack and goes insane working a job he hates and kills off most of the crew and some of the management.
